It's interesting the start of the race was delayed because of traffic congestion and fans being stuck in the mud. TMC can honestly say he attended the inaugural Cup races at Texas Motor Speedway race in 1997 and Kentucky Motor Speedway race in 2010. Those races had a ton of parking woes due to mud and traffic congestion. But hmm, let's see. Did the start of those races get delayed to ensure all those folks could make it to their seats in time for the start? Um, that would be 'no'.
